The friendliness of the staff - everyone was so energetic and happy to working at the hotel. That was very nice and it amde me feel welcome.

Shuttle bus service in the morning to airport was good. One staff memebr spoke good English so it was easy to communicate.

It's an old fashioned hotel where everything starting from decoration, lay-out and furnishing is old and outdated. Hotel interiors are cheap , photos on Booked.net gave different perception than what hotel was in reality. There is a strange smell in hotel, room was spacious but it again had strange, unpleasant smell. Furniture was outdated and you can hear every noise from outside or hotel corridoor. Other people may find hotel good but wasn't anything for my taste, not recommended for international, business travellers who need an up-to-date settings and comfortable sphere. Not to forget, on 27th July evening, the concierge did open the door but didn't bother to help with luggage. Strange. And they upgraded my room to a expenssive type without my permission. Not done!

There is nothing that I like about the hotel. Your internet description is nowhere close to the real and actual hotel. One compliment I can give -- the hotel front desk staff and the bell captain staff named James who worked that night that I checked in - July 21 -- went out of their way to find me 2 power plug adapters so that I could use my laptop. Second compliment - hotel provides courtesy airport shuttle from and to the airport, with prior notification.

It's a very old hotel - about 30 years old. The carpets are worn out and dirty. The restaurant sucks. Food is bland, staff don't speak english. Please do not ever recommend this hotel to anyone from the western world.

very huge room for this price.big living room with a big TV.and huge bed room also with a TV.hotel staff are helpful.my check out was eary morning so,they gave me a lunch pack for my breakfast.it was so helpful.

The room was really great. I ended up with a suite that had a separate living room from the bedroom, which was really nice. It also had a desk I could put my laptop on and the free internet was really handy. The hotel staff was superhelpful and spent time helping me plan my trip into Taipei by finding me directions and transportation options.

It was nice to have a free breakfast, but it was mediocre, at least to the Western palate. Not a lot of options that didn't have meat. Still, I was able to get enough to keep me going until I could get a better breakfast later in the morning. The hotel in general could use an updating. The facilities, although neat and clean and very functional, looked a little bit run down.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the shuttle bus service was very good, they picked me up from the bus station and took me to the airport in the morning. I was upgraded for free to suite and the room was very clean and the bed incredibly comfy. The evening meal was very tasty and good value for money, as was breakfast..

I booked this hotel for the sole reason that it was close to the Taoyuan Airport and I was to meet my family coming in on another flight very early in the morning. A hotel shuttle picked me up and dropped me off even though I was the only passenger. I was told they were overbooked, so I was put in the Royal Suite: huge with tacky Chinese decoration, 2 TVs, and 2 bathrooms, all for me! Don't expect this.

I paid cash and was promised a receipt, but I never got one. The hotel is filled with many tour groups.

actually it was my wrong decision to stay in Taoyuan area, becuase my business was in Taipei. so i use to travel long way back to taipei and return to hotel.

Most light switches in the room did not work; no network cable in room, had to borrow it at the front desk; breakfast items were very low quality. Only a few front desk employee did not speak English.

we liked nothing about the hotel it was old worn out location was to say the least a bomb site place even had instructions how to use a air raid shelter that was in the basment but that was it food was really bad i have stayed in my youth in better road side hostles all in all iwould rathewr forget the experiance

I was upgraded to a business suite, and the receptionist was friendly.

It was a little bit farther from the airport than I expected (more 20 min than 10 min), but still ok. Also, the flush in the bathroom didn't seem very effective. However, overall it was a positive experience.

Room carpet, smell and overall condition was not as expected. It looked like it had better days and now is promoting to city tours travelers.

“'Perfect for what I needed, I don't understand any of the bad reviews!'” I stayed in this hotel the night before my flight home from Taiwan, they picked me up from the bus station and then took me to the airport in the morning. The staff were extremely helpful and give me a room very clean and comfy and perfect for me the night before a long flight it was very relaxing. I had a meal in the restaurant and as well as being really tasty it was amazing value . Breakfast was very good, a massive buffet with something for everyone.
